Michael “Mikie” Bermudez joined HoCo Pride in 2025 and serves as the talent acquisition specialist for OEC Pride. Mikie has been part of the Ellicott City community since 2015 and has been married to his husband since 2019. He began performing in drag 15 years ago as KC Florance and now hosts the “Drag Me To Brunch” shows, which he created during the COVID pandemic to support local entertainers and offer a safe space for the community. Mikie has raised over $10,000 through his shows for causes like breast cancer awareness, Old Ellicott City Pride, and Toys For Tots. A local entrepreneur, he owns several food businesses and is dedicated to supporting Howard County. Mikie has been a volunteer Howard County firefighter since 2018 and co-chairs Old Ellicott City Pride. He is passionate about spreading love, equality, and diversity.
