Abby began working with HoCo Pride in 2018. Starting with coordinating fundraising and sponsorship communication, she is now the COO and Co-Chair of HoCo Pride. She has been a member of PFLAG for over 20 years. When not volunteering her time, she is middle school teacher in Montgomery County, and prides herself on providing a voice to marginalized students. She is a mother of a 10-year-old daughter, and her lovely husband and daughter help support her and this initiative. She is also the chair of Emerge Maryland. Abby’s passionate activism has helped support legislation for equality for all people.
